That's the aim. If you're maintaining your focus on the same customer segment, clearer messaging will help. If you're shifting your focus to a new one, you'll need to consider your wider sales and marketing strategy to make it make the most of it.
Total time is typically around two to three weeks. It really depends on your team's availability to produce required inputs, meet and provide feedback on the outputs we create.
Typically, we need two three hour workshops with the team as a minimum and follow up sessions with department heads and leaders of the business. The work can be completed in two weeks, but that's dependent on your team's ability to invest the time.
Leaders of the business, plus sales, marketing and product are non-negotiable (landing this takes alignment, after all). Other subject matter experts are also helpful, but the group shouldn't be more than 6-7 from your business to make the most of it.
Cost is based on the complexity of the project. Typically, larger and more mature companies have deeper strategies, more products and personas to consider. There's also a wider set of stakeholders that will need engaging to make sure that this lands and is useful. Prices range from £7500 - £20,000.
It's a great tactic, and hugely important for teams. We trust that your sales, marketing and product teams are already doing this on a weekly basis, and leverage their insights. Doing this directly would be slow, expensive and shift ownership away from your teams, which would prevent it from landing as well and ultimately it being integrated into your operations.
In the discovery phase, you'll get a report that combines internal insights from a discovery questionnaire; a summary report of customer insights, competitor mapping and buyer trigger analysis. In the development phase, you'll get a proposition and position for your key persona, plus internal alignment on what really matters to your success. Finally, in the delivery phase, you'll get a messaging framework, broken down through the customer journey, a wireframe of your homepage or a landing page, and an an action plan for embedding the outputs, cross campaigns, channels and functions.
